200 dash

What do you use to clean it with as it seems a very strange material IMO and the micro fiber seems to stick to it :confused1:

I find an old t shirt has been the best on mine anything else leaves bits of itself on the dash

not had to clean mine yet, i usually use a soft brush or the brush on the end of the vac. I dont put polish on as it only makes it get dusty quicker as the dust sticks to it.
I use the micro fibre cloth to do the centre bit round the radio.

Use a microfiber that has been washed a few times, you wont get bits come off then.

I bought some matt finish Armour-all dashboard wipes from Halfords and they do a great job! The cloths are really strong and don't leave any fluff or fibres on the soft wheel - but quite rough - plastics! They come in a packet which is resealable and I recommend them highly! :hug:

I use JEFFS Werkstatt Satin Prot with a ClearKote Wax Applicator Pad I have about 15 of theses and they are fantastic, werkstat is easy to use and protects against UV damage and works really well on out side plastics as well.

You use that on your dash? is the 197 dash rough like the 200?

In the Cup it is a smooth dash IIRC, only the FF is the 'soft-touch' which is the textured one. I tend to use a damp microfibre as any dust sticks to it but it doesn't drag on the dash. Works well on all of the interior really.

I TRIED to run a micro fiber over it and it just stuck and it was an old one which has been washed and washed...

Yep, I spray the applicator pad first so it glides nice and easy over the dash.

I have the textured dash as well.

So maybe thats what my problem is, the cloth/pad needs to be damp.

I use a damp micro with Auto Glym interior shampoo! Good stuff and smells nice too!
