AT THrottle Bodies

the million dollar question is will a tuner/electrician/specialist/whoever manage to code the ecu to work with the rest of the peripherals? I wouldn't like a different dash for example. I really hope that someone will offer such a package in the future.

There is a plug in ecu underdevelopment ATM so I would not think it will be too long

Fernandez, that's not a bad price atall, especially if it is with everything required.
the Jenveys come in around £1200 all inc, so these if they are as good will be a great seller with the carbon trumpets.
is this Titan that also make differentials and gearbox's?

ill be interested as I ordered my Omex 600 today

Did u order the omex for a 197/200 ? I'm not sure it can control r Vvt thought it was only off on type Vvt it could control

Good stuff Fernandez
hopefully my new engine will be finished within a month or so, then I can plan on the bodies and hopefully you will have more details and final prices available for these

Hasn't this Gen 90 been in development for the last 4 years.. lol

I was told there's a car running on it and all there just sorting out it out so it plugs in now, sounds good , I'm sure there will be a few turbo / supercharger kits out once a good ecu is on the market

When the ECU issues are sorted (which they will at some point) I can see a new scene of F4R tuning...interesting times!

Agree with this, has been pretty limited on what can be done to these engines with ease other than meg conversions.

yep with you lads on this i would go down the meg route but would be a shame to take out my engine with it been a strong puller so hope somthing comes out of this,Its having the balls to do it as well:001_unsure:

Even with a standalone ECU the F4R in 197/200 form is quite limited IMO. I had to replace pistons to accommodate higher lift cams worth doing anything. It has to be remembered the F4R has been around for 14 years now and started at 170bhp so by the time it reached the 197 already had 30 bhp worth of N/A tuning.

I spent around 7k on the pistons, cams, ITBs and ECU and I rolled at 230bhp on honest rollers. Bang for buck the meg conversion will always be the better choice... IMO of course!

There's an ITB Clio Trophy for sale for 4K on CS. Think that's a better money spending way. Get another car lol.

I think the 197/200 is perfect standard tbh, yes everything can do with 'more' but its the only car I've had that I don't feel the need to modify.
