Broken/Loose baffles

Folliwng on from my previous thread about a rattle under my car....

..... are the 197's (57k miles) prone to exhaust baffles breaking or coming loose? Car is standard and seems to be the center section in question.

I am pretty sure this is the issue I have, just cant seem to find an awful lot of documentation of this issue really, many threads just seem to fizzle out with no end/outcome

It has been known to happen although to my knowledge it isn't all that common.

One of the lads has a standard back box/silencer for sale here.
