Service light came up on the 200 today so need to book it in for a service, Ive heard really good things about BTM Performance in birmingham on cliosport.net and meganesport.net, was wondering if anyone on here had had any experience with them?

personly chap i would take the car to tcr they are in wednesbury and these guys race clio cup cars so there isnt much they dont know about our cars both of mine clio and meg go there lee the owner is spot on and you get to poke arround nick hammeltons car (very nice)lol :thumbup:

haven't heard of them until now, but clearly a very reputable place from your reports. ill give them a bell and see how they compare price wise and availability wise, thanks for the recommendation! Just out of interest how much do they charge for a regular service on the clio?

ive seen some good reports too, that the kind of place I'm looking for, not too keen on taking it to the Renault garage, going to contact him tomorrow.

If u take it a garage rather dan reno will that not invalid the warrenty ??

ive not used them for a service yet but these are the guys when my crank shaft sensor whent cam out to my house fitted the part and got the clio back up and running within 20 mins charged me all in £80.00 inc vat then Pads on the meg £25.00 ... i tryed fred at the time after hearing lots of good reports but he never replied to my PM or answer machine message so sadly i cant comment on freds work..

Anyway give them a shout as i say thats ware my cars go and im very happy with the service and car porn i get to look at every time i go

not as long as its vat reg and use gen ren parts

Thats a pretty glowing review tbh ill give them a shout and see what they say. Those cup racers are seriously tasty! Really like the sabelt steering wheel, might have to look into getting one at some point.

BTM are good, but I'd personally go to TCR.

Ive always used Fred and never had a problem, Top Bloke and good prices!

another thumbs up for BTM - only had simple brake work done there so far but pricing very reasonable
