Anyone fitted a proper bucket seat into there clio?

If so what sub frames have used. The OMP ones?


Also so does the recaro's in the Clio have airbags in side of them?
 
I had an OMP subframe, bolted straight into the factory floor fixings and bolted a bimarco onto the subframe.
 
I didn't bother Chris, it went straight on to the trailer and off to the ring, so I wasn't worried about an airbag light.
car has since been sat on the driveway for the past 5 months and only last month had the standard seat bolted back in again.

have you still got the clio then, I was sure you sold up and went for the FRS?
have you and your dad still got them both?
 
I would have been able to, but I directly bolted it to subframe in a position to suit me as the car was only going to the ring for one weekend.
And the seats when in the actual track car don't even have Subframes but actual welded in frames to the chassis that the seas directly bolt to for a lower as more secure driving position, so I've never invested in sliders.
 
yeah at the moment i had a custom rail made and then bolted the sidemounts to the rails and its fixed and not sliding. Im pretty tall and like the seat down as low as possible. might invest in a set of subframes next.
