building track 197 from motorsport shell

Building a trackday car from a 2009 197 motorsport shell i found on racecarsdirect.com.
Have stripped a 197 write off and i'm putting what i need in the lhd shell.
I've had good support from jhr, A team which races them in the elf clio cup alongside the btcc.
They have supplied a race spec rear axle and front subframe and alot of advice)
I'm looking for some left hand drive parts wiper linkage, motor, arms and scuttle, also lhd servo, master cylinder and pedals.
Will keep you posted with the progress.

Did think about it, But it's not easy.
There would be major mods to the bulkhead where the servo and pedals bolt through.

Speak to 'spinky' he has been building a project based on the same set up, except he is fitting a meg turbo engine.
From what I can gather lhd parts are next to impossible to get hold of on the cheap.

are you using the engine out of the road car? and what gearbox are you using>? cos the race one is obviouslt completly different?

Yes, Using engine and gearbox out of the road car.
Have put the loom in and it all looks the same, so it should go in with not too
many problems.

Engine and gearbox in, All in took about an hour! (I was surprised aswell)
Now a big save up to buy the proper suspension. H&R springs and blistein coilovers.
