Can power folding mirrors be retro fitted?

Hi All,

I have done a search for this using the search function but didnt find anything..........im sure it must have been asked before though?

Can the power folding mirrors be retro fitted to a Clio 197?

I looked into this, you would need new door looms as an absolute minimum. Plug to the switch is totally different.

I think someone tried it before, but there was too much work involved. IIRC.

I have literally just done a google search and managed to dig up a thread dated about Sept 2009 and have answered my question.

I was guessing it probably couldnt be done very easily otherwise you would read about it a bit more.

It would have been a nice extra touch as well.
