Change up 'beep'

Are you supposed to have the change up 'beep' in a 197 or just the light? if so why isn't mine working?

Ah cheers, shame managed to hit the limiter the other day, horrible feeling.

Find yourself a set of clocks from a 200 and swap them over.

Shift beep will work fine but you'll need to get a mileage correction

The shift beep is a pointless gimmick. Peak torque drops like a lead balloon about 250rpm before the beep comes in.

Beep is pointless as well with full decat because I can never hear it

After you've driven the car enough you don't need the beep as you can feel the torque drop off before it even happens

Used to have it beep multiple times cornering on the throttle annoying as hell.

Coming from a standard Ford Focus, my 197 is the first "powerful" car I've owned, managed to hit the rev limiter once since owning it and never realized how much power was suddenly lost when you do. It almost felt like I stamped the brake pedal as it suddenly stopped accelerating. Odd feeling.
