Clio 197 flat spot

Hi I am under the impression this is quite a common thing on the 197 that they have a flat spot at 2500 rpm and kangaroo when cold.
I have put a scorpion exhaust system and a bluefin static map on it.
I was under told this would solve the problem but it hasn't.

Any help will be amazing.

Even after a remap they don't run that we'll until they warm up.

try a couple of tie wraps holding the map sensor tight on the manifold...

You could try the map sensor, mine was loose and I zip tie'd it down but in honesty it didn't make that much difference.

The problem with Bluefin maps is they assume the car is standard, by adding an exhaust it alters the gas flow - even more so if you add a panel filter or put a cone on it.

A custom remap will sort it as they'll adjust the fueling to be spot on right across the revs, something which a generic map can never do.

Might be a long shot but if you bought the Bluefin map new you could e-mail them and explain your car still isn't running right around the 2500rpm mark, say you have an exhaust on. Sometimes they have altered versions of maps they send out for cars that are mildly modified.
