clio cold judder and engine mounts

It may just be me but when I get a judder on I find myself kangarooing down the road as it doesn't seem to stop lol? And also when I shift from 1st to 2nd it sounds like my engine is hitting the bulk head.. Are my mounts shagged?

Are you not letting the car warm up a bit before setting off? Mine only ever did it when it was cold, and now i don't set of until it showing 900 revs. Havent had the problem since.

I am having the same issue with the shifting from cold.

When the car is left over night, get in the car in the morning. Drive of and select 2nd / 3rd gear at about 3k revs. take your foot of the accelerator and you will prob here a knocking noise from the foot well.

juddering is normal, the knock will be rear gearbox mount, and excuse to get a ktec uprated one.

open the bonnet wobble then engine and you will notice the block holding the top part of the engine in place the is a rubber bush in a little square cup. If the rubber is wearing thin then it will make a knocking noise.
