Do all Semi Slicks sound like Tractor Tyres?

I have R888s on my 200 and love their performance and longevity on the track.

However, I do a lot of miles on the road and hate the tyre roar these things bring.

Are other brands of semi slick track tyres any better in this regard?

No in a word: No

Mainly just R888, A048 are not have a half as bad.

All pretty bad, with the exception of Pilot Sport Cups - but they don't come in Clio sizes anymore, well not in the UK they don't. R888s are the worst though.

Look for stuff with a road tyre style tread, Kumho V70A for example.
