Do you need to remove the tyres for a DIY refurb ?

Refurbing a spare set of wheels in a few weeks and was wondering weather to take the tyres off or just use the playing card and tape trick ?

is there any kurb marks on the rim and if so how bad?

you might get away with letting the tyre right down and pushing it off the rim to mask it up really well

There are a few kerb marks, nothing too bad on the rim tbh

how do you plan on repairing the kurb marks then mate?...would be interesting to know how they do it when you get them professionally done,i'm sure someone will be along to tell us soon

Done a bit of search on the web and most people use a liquid metal type filler and lots of sanding
