Door pillar trims

My black door pillar trims on the exterior are looking really shabby - very faded and nothing i've used will bring them back to life - is this another "common problem" ?
Is the only sure remedy to replace them and has anyone done it? - i guess they just peel off then stick the new ones on?

i took mine off and wrapped them with black vinyl, came out really well and it's much cheaper than getting the original ones that are very over priced!!

What colour is your car? Mines black and I just took them off altogether. Looks better IMO

Its only a fiver to join. Well worth the money.

@robby71 I treated mine with G/techniq C4 and it brought them up like new. Still look like new now 4 months later.

Paddy - is the C4 a cutting polish? were yours badly faded before?

C4 is a trim restorer by a company called G/Techniq. If you put polish on the pillar trims you will ruin them as they will stain and nothing will get it out.
