ex Nimbus r27r #2054

you're right Noddie

i've just bought house and i've no many time/money to drive often my car.. so lately i make few photos...

this mounth i'd like to make 1 trackday!!

This thursday i'll bring the car to my mechanical to make some little mods..

- brake fluid change with the ate sl.6 (very low viscosity, good for our abs.. Do you remember me at franciacorta? We think that on wet with low grip, abs has been crazy..)

- new goodridge brake line (i've a little problem with tho old ones, the boy that fitted them did't check all and after 5km i found them in this condition:

- remove air conditioning

- new radiator tank in aluminium on the left side of the engine (where we'll remove some tubes of a.c.)

- refitting the v6 airbox with the hole on the front side (where now there is the radiator tank i've a hole into the plastic because i tried the r3 maxi airbox..) similar of this:

Last week we went to weight some clio..
Stock 1260kg
Mine 1220kg
Both with the same fuel (around 50liters)

Looks great bud.
Not a very high boiling point for the brake fluid though?
But then i didnt know you could buy low viscocity fluid either!

rfb 600 - 312°c - viscosity - 1740mm/2
rfb 660 - 325°c - viscosity - 1698mm/2
ate sl.6 - 265°c - viscosity - 700mm/2

Looking good Simo. Fluid looks interesting!

Love the 'big fat off' intake to that air box

Your car is epic to say the least. Some great mods. Might have to look into the R3 airbox option.

I'm currently using the ATE fluid and have to say it works very well.

Good news for me!:thumbup1:

Is very important chose a fluid that works good with new generation abs...
The esp (i don't have more now..) works well with low viscosity..

My rbf600 is always works well, i had only that problem in franciacorta when the abs didn't start and the wheels were blocked.. on wet, with rs2 and very very few grip

:worried: i don't know if the problem was the fluid or other...:f1team07:
