ex Nimbus r27r #2054

Yes, 1 dial to stiffen and soften.

You can spec lots of differnt spring rates for slicks etc.

I had stiffer eibach front springs on mine.

Today italian importer reply to my mail and he told me that ast DOESNT TOUCH THE INTERNAL IDRAULIC IF I CHOOSE DIFFERENT SPRING

....... If i choose 80/110 or 50/60 kg.. The idraulic is the same!! Not good!!

:nope:

I don't see that being a problem. I used to have them at there softest setting when it was wet.

In the dry I was complimented by a regular in his GT3 RS on how well set up the car was when he was following me. I was up for swaping but he wasn't fit having it

I wrote to ast yesterday and they have replied methis morning!

"We use a different setting for these spring setups
If you need pricing please let me now."

Perfect, now i've asked them why they use a setting 80/110..
In italy a very good suspension factory advise me a setting 90/70 and i need to know why have a different idea..

Then i'll decide

Why do you not go for KW Clubsport or KW Competition ?
They are no customizable.. :worried:
And the price of the clubsport is too hight

I'm undecided from ast and orap.. 20% 80%..
Orap is italian, 2.30h from my house, made rally suspension and also full adjustable.
Ast is very good..
In 1 week i'll decide..

love your steering wheel simo, what make and model is it mate?

It is the cup/r3 steering whell..

I hope they will be good!!!

I'm running ASTs as you know mate, 3 different setups, road, track and race. And the difference is NOT only in the stiffness of springs. The kit is better than V3s, a bit more expensive but it's worth it. Clubsports are more expensive but the reason is the top mounts. You have mounts so no worries:smile:

Go for it if you can afford it. The kit is awesome, I can't comment on the Italian kit though..

orap is the same quality, in italy many r3 team use their suspension..
the best thing for me is that i can go to them for any problem..

i'm very undecided...
price is the same

I'd go for Orap then mate. If its a similar product and its on R3s then I'd go for them all the way. However, do they only do race kits or they are also customisable?
