This is mainly why I tend to work on my own cars as I do not trust anyone else to care for it properly. I work next to audi and see the 'work' their 'detailing team' do. Makes me facepalm whenever I walk past. They sell cars up to £80k worth yet they get dweebs to wash them with one grit filled bucket and a Brillo pad. Just don't understand it. Gutted for you pal. Only thing I would say is get one of those signs that you hang in your car that says 'do not clean this car'.
