Gearbox packed up

So it looks like my gearbox packed up last night at the young age of just 35,000 miles, it got stuck in 4th and managed to get it in a few other gears on my way home, but now it seems to select all gears but other times it has trouble, how much am I expecting to pay for a new gearbox from Renault?

Tuff luck mate, 35k isn't premature for these boxes to fail by all accounts.

I'd source a working 2nd hand unit or get yours rebuilt. Good opportunity to fit an LSD if funds allow.

are you sure its the "gearbox"....could be clutch hydraulics at fault...
