how to remove recaro seat

will be fitting my made no seat frame tomorrow

the instructions are very basic and begin with the seat being removed, but don't actually tell you how to do this

im assuming the whole seat and subframe/runners come out in a one-er,


anyone know how to take the drivers seat out in 1 lump? is it a case of unplug the harness and undo 4 bolts?

4 T40 bolts to undo jobs a good one!

Yeah, 4 bolts mate. Might be worth disconnecting the battery before hand

Oh and watch the sills, they are pretty hefty unites these seats!

i think as long as ignition is off the battery shouldn't need disconnecting but i will do it anyway to be safe

yep i put it on yesterday

wasn't happy with the alignment so diffuser off again last night at 10pm and readjusted it and its much better


took it for a blast and its class.

louder than i expected but the throttle response is way better and the mid range is a massive improvement.

also no flat spot. a great exhaust
