inlet matching

basically this is the car so far:
its a 58plate nimbus cup chassis

goodyear eagle f1 tyres
KW V1 sus
18/20mm eibach Spacers

K&N panel filter
Miltek catback

Recaro Pole Postion seats
3 point harnesses
rear seats removed
standard clio front splitter (jase splitter)

next job(s) is to get a sprint booster, sport cat, red silicone coolant/induction hoses, powergasket thermal intake gasket, ulimate racing struts and then

inlet matching and then remap..

now im from the north(newcastle), and would prefer not to be sending parts off my car to get sorted, does anyone know of a specialist around the north-east that could do the work(inlet matching) ?????

will post some pic as soon as i get sprint booster and KW V1 front end fitted (waiting on top mounts) plus needs cleaning lol

RalphyBMW, matched inlet would be awesome coz i could polish outsides before bolting it on.

see someone do it before and looked mint.

My upper inlet is actually powder coated. PTFE gasket would be the same principal, reduces heat transfer. Pricing in my for sale thread, on bb so can't link.

anthracite is that like a darky solid grey colour?? (1)

now i'm no engineer and know very little about it.. is the upper and lower part matched to each other and it doesn't matter what gasket goes inbetween or has it been set up to take your 4mm PTFE inlet manifold gasket?? (2)

soz for asking lots of questions but its a lot of money to spend for it not to be right..


also been looking at other things you got in there

Alcantara covered clock surround, gear lever gaitor, gear knob and steering wheel, silver stitching to all, blue marker band.

you still got that? (3)

The upper and lower are matched to each other. The PTFE gasket goes between the lower inlet and the head. There is no benefit from a ptfe gasket between upper and lower.

Anthracite, same colour as Cup wheels.

Still have the alcantara bits, lots of interest but have been away so haven't got them off the car yet.

well im definitely interested in both trim and the manifold....

lets just concentrate on the manifold atm

will need to see some pics as im guessing its a used item..

are you still up for selling inlet manifold

coz there is some cheap manifold going on ebay..

would prefer yours like coz its already done and means less hassle
