Is the Camshaft sensor/Tdc sensor the same thing?

Hey lads. I got a Fault Code: P0010 and im told i need to replace the camshaft Sensor/TDC sensor, im wondering are they 2 different sensors or are they both the same thing? Also is it an easy job to do or is it a garage job. cheers.

yes both different

camshaft sensor is on the front of the head on the r/h side under the inlet manifold near to the dipstick - picks up from inlet cam

tdc sensor - is in/on the gearbox bellhousing low down on the r/h front side of the gearbox

faulty tdc usually means a poor start or no start at all - it doesn't usually put up fault codes either!

cam sensor can cause power loss/limp function running
