K&N vs KTR Induction Kit

just been looking for some stuff on ebay and spotted this induction kit:

i was well surprised by the price..can anyone explain why this induction kit is so cheap compared to KTR,which we know is around £220..

Its because the K&N loses your bhp and the KTR & ITG gain you bhp

I've got a piper cross panel filter in mine

The KTR one is bespoke to the clio. The k&n one is just a generic filter with a tube to connect it.

He is for real. K&N kits do not work well on the F4r engine. Great on other cars but not the Clio.

The only induction kits you want to be looking at are the Ktec, ITG Maxogen, V6 airbox (as used by cup race cars) or if your pockets are really deep then check the out Madeno Racing kit.

Mmmm that madeno racing one is a rather sexy induction kit though, shame about the race team price bracket.

Let me know how you get on, induction kit is on my to do list. I quite liked the ktr but noticed quite a few have the itg on that recent induction kit thread by Kane

Not worth the money, you get nothing but a bit more noise, so you sound if your going faster, remap is not far off the money of an induction kit, and transforms the car.
