Anyone watching the qualifying/free practice on EuroSport HD?

Quick question... I've never seen the Brake pads changed on the 24 hour race.. how come they can last the full 24 hour race but the Clio eats a set of Ferodo on a a track day?
 
must be exceptional at wear rates in that case! Could also ask why the Ceramic brakes in Ferrari Road cars etc need replaced just interested is all :smile:

I'm going to assume its the price of the brakes heh
