Probably should have done this update ages ago.

So what's new.... Well

The Ktec manifold was fitted, what a great product, brilliant clearance against the subframe, NO FLAT SPOT, even before mapping. Large ports.



Powerflex ARB bushes where also fitted. Can't notice any difference, the cup ones are kind of the same stiffness anyway! [emoji58]

Then the long drive to RS Tuning, Paul did a great job, the car made 201bhp and around 165lbft

So am I happy? Kinda, I like the noise the car feels a little quicker.


Butttt, After going out in Stuarts megged Clio, I think it's time to move to the dark side!

MEGANE engine conversion time. Decided it was time for some more power so went for an r26 set up. Aiming for around the 290bhp mark.

-Work is being carried out by two techs Renault specialists who I know will do a cracking job. Car went in today, should take around 1 month to complete.



-Sc autos have made me up the intercooler and hard pipe kit, should be with me next week.

R26 engine, R26 gearbox, Ecu, shafts, loom also acquired but not pics.


250 turbo.


Forge Recirculation valve


Helix uprated clutch and cover plate


KTR lightened flywheel 6.8kg


Ram air filter


Silicone inlet hose and ancillieres hoses


630cc injectors


Gear selector short shift, vibratech's uprated gearbox mount and powerflex black series torque mount.


Forge coolant hoses


Forge vacuum clamps


KTR down pipe, heat wrapped and DEI painted.


Also have a miltek link pipe and Supersprint non res centre section.

Great to see another one coming over to the darkside If you haven't already paid for the SC pipe kit then don't bother - it's a waste of money and you don't need it!

Looked over your car today while I was down at Two Techs,lovely example and the list of parts and work needed are impressive.A LY 200 screamed past me on the M2 on the way home(really missing mine).

Cheers mate, I phoned up two techs earlier, they said they spoke to you about my car. Don't you have an r26r? I bet that's great fun! Anyone who gets rid of the Clio always misses it lol.

Bosh..

It's a shame there isn't a company out there who can just take the car and give it back to you without you doing any work (for meggy engines). I'd end up screwing it up so much it would be off the road for months.

Yeah the 26r is great fun and l wouldn't let anyone work on it other than Terry and Matt from Two Techs.l can see your 200 being a little pocket rocket.

Little update from two techs.

Out came the N/A engine

Healthy 200 engine will be for sale soon.

The engine started to be build up, on went all new servicable items, followed by the 250 turbo and some new braided oil lines and turbo coolant pipes. The down pipe was also fitted, unfortunately heat wrap no longer looks as good as it had to be shuffled down slightly to get the bolts on. But guess you won't see it so not a problem.

The bay was all heat shielded.

The engine in now in and car is now back together and is a rolling chassis. No pic of this yet but sure there will be some begging of next week. [emoji4] I'm excited now however there is a problem....

My intercooler kit still has not arrived, I have been waiting 3.5 months now and still nothing and vague updates from the seller, getting to point now where I may have to set up a dispute with PayPal to get a refund.

If your waiting for the intercooler from SC then good luck, by all accounts he's closed down. I'd be onto paypal now if I were you.
