My 200

We're back after a while!

Last week i bought stuff for the Clio, i've orderd the bilstein b14 way back in January but until last week nothing that my dealer could say when they will arrive, zo cancelled them and looking for something different, next month i'm at the Nurburgring for my holiday and planning on driving the Clio then so i don't wanted to wait any langer. After a chat with K-tec i've ordered there coilovers which they say are good. Will see. Other things i've bought are front camberplates from Compbrake, stud nut conversion with 21mm spacers, new rear mirror, lower coolant hose from radiator (orginial one) and orginial cluth with slave cilinder. Currently the Clio is at my work without a gearbox, i've dismantled the box to replacement the syncromesh rings from 3&4 and 5&6 gears. Overall the gearbox is in really good condition so far that i can see. The only questionable thing are the differantial bearings, they make a little bit of noise when spinning the diff in the gearbox. But again this is without any oil so maybe this is how it suppose to be, but i've ordered new ones anyway just to make sure. LSD is not an option at the moment as i've also got the Megane and just came back with from a road trip (Ramble Rally). So i've taken some pictures so everybody can see it's current condition

Bought this off ebay, complete with syncro hub for 3&4, after a thread on facebook. The only thing is that i will use the steel ones

Here you can see the difference between the upgrade syncromesh ring from steel and the normal brons ones

Made a custom bracket for the engine so the car can go off the ramp as you can see in the picture above

Just waiting on parts now, i think it will al be delivered next week

I've read that Redline MTL 90 IS the gearbox oil to go for as a member from here says? I think his name was Northloopcup, seems like he has a lot of knowledge of the TL4 boxes. It has to be GL4? I've saw that the redline is a bit thicker than normal if i'm right, 75w90 and 75w80 is orginial?

Hope you guys enjoy and let me know off the oil.

Thanks!
