Newish member, from hereford! Ultra red 197

Just thought I would pop and say Hi, been on the forum for a few months while I have owned my 197, been if'ing and are'ing if I should keep it or not. Finally decided I'm keeping it.
Anyhow my names Joe I'm from hereford, west mids. Also own a 106 Rallye ;/ Which I'm currently rebuilding from a bare shell.

Fernandez - I will keep everyone update with the progress don't worry

Gez - does the photo of the 197 not work? Should be one of the clio and one of the Rallye.

Dmonk197 - I was debating wether to keep it because i was going to buy a diesel so I can save more pennies to spend on the 106, but I can't live with having a diesel, need something with a little bit of fun in it so the clio will stay.


One problem I am having is when I first drive the car after is been sat for a while it makes a twang noise over the first few bumps, it also does it over the odd speed bump but that's it. I did think it was a snapped spring but haven't had chance to look yet.
Any ideas?
