Rico Rally Sunday Driver April '14

So over the weekend I got invited by Fernandez from Cazan Racing to pop over and do the Rico Rally Sunday Driver event that the guys were putting on.

It involved a whole weekend, starting with some light detailing work on the Cazan Racing Clio (which consisted mostly of getting rid of all the sh*t the RC6 pads had put back in to the paint since it's last detailing session, and then some slight paint correction on the carbon bonnet).

After the cleaning session we hit the road for Preston - which (no offence) seems like a pretty dull and uninspiring place to start any road trip! Anywho we checked in and hit the local Nandos with some of the Rico boys had told some stories and had some laughs.

Next Day we hit Amari Supercars and my jaw almost literally hit the floor. TWO Ferrari F40s a P4 and all sorts of other exotica were scattered about along with some of the metal that had turned up for the Rally. After that we hit the roads of north Yorkshire (familiar to some of the Yorkshire members no doubt) and had a hell of a time chasing GTR's, Jag 'R's, a few 911 Turbos and even an Aston Virage.

Later in the day we tracked down the owner of the 'Burg Edition Astra VXR, found some private road, and, well.... hammered them. Lovely car the ring edition, but there was no hiding the Cazan car had the legs in the straights and a hell of a lot less understeer on corners.

So enough blabbering on, time for some pics!

looks like you have been keeping urself busy..only to have some proper cash to be able to afford one of these..personally really like the nissan gtr...

They look awesome Rob. It was a great day and even better when Swisswax Chris in the Aston said "what the **** you got in that"

The Clio was the surprise of the day especially leaving the TVR'S behind and keeping on the tail of the Virage. Get the video up mate

excellent stuff guys, pics are awesome? What is that pink cleaning product you used?

Video? Did I read video??

There are some vids kicking about Pav, I'm yet to salvage stuff off the bumper mounted mini cam though. I'm just hoping the brief bit of rain didn't fry it.

Cleaning product is AutobriteDirect Purple Rain. Fantastic fallout remover, similar in application to something like Iron X. Without it, the Cazan Clio would still be an orangey rust colour.

Which one you doing Chris_200CUP? If last weekend was anything to go by you're gonna have an awesome time, the guys from Rico are super friendly and seem to be doing this for all the right reasons (fun!).
