Scorpion centre box removal

Local exhaust specialist was called today for a quote . He has quoted me £70 to remove the centre box and replace it with a stainless pipe. May be off there in the morning

will take a before and after video if I get it done

Considering this myself haha. Want it louder!

If you remember tag me into the video thread cos I want to see the outcome

I found the non-res scorpion a bit much in terms of keeping the partner happy! Just be warned that it's quite loud if your carrying passengers/kids! To add a bit of science, scorpion reckon the non res system is 91.6db, compared to 84db of the stock system!

That sounds awesome.

The only thing that is putting me off doing it, is that when I come to sell the car, ill put the standard system back on and resell the scorpion, doing this will lower any resale value. I sort of wish I had just bought the none resonated system, but I bottled it.

You noticed any flatspot? I know its early days.

Edit: where you get them lights?

I have kept the centre box and exhaust centre says he could refit it if needed.

Flat spot wise not yet but only normally happens when cold so I will let you know.
Back lights are DIY mate aerosol tinting spray

Not too worried about keeping the wife happy   and the kids are all petrol heads (even my daughter) so will all love in anyway

you have to learn how to drive them quietly as well, my pipes been changed for over a month now and still learning more about it! (how to make it bang being the most exciting)

i have a small flat spot at 2500rpm-300rpm but will be mapped out
