Hi,
This is my project thread for my Clio 197. I now own Jake Honours ex michelin road cup series car from Jade Developments. I had plans to build one, but with this one almost ready it made sense to have it fixed up and a few extra parts added.
Current spec of the car:
Bare shell build from a standard 197
Glacier White and AMG grey interior/cage
R019 safety devices cage
Bimarco seats/omp harnesses
Plumbed in extinguisher system
Master cut off/ pump override and fan override
Cup racer roof scoop
22r green Cup racer wheels
Nankang AR1 225 45 17 tyres
R3 access bilstein coilovers with adjustable topmounts
Gripper Plated Diff, first of a new batch developed at Jades
R3 airbox
Milltek manifold back exhaust
I love going to the Nurburgring, I bought this to replace my heavily modified Subaru Impreza. I was disappointed with the 8.16 BTG due to the weight of this car. My previous ring car was a stripped/caged 205 with 1/3 the bhp. It managed a respectable 8.25 BTG with hard tyres and generally basic spec.
My goal is to officially go sub 8 in a standard engine 197.
When I went to see it, it needed some tlc, including a respray!
Stripped for paint
After paint
A very happy day when I trailered it to its new home
