Sound above 6k rpm

Hi all!

Have just noticed a sound metallic rattling sound when the car is above 6krpm, it seems to be in all gears at various amounts of load.

I have just checked for any fault codes and its clear, sounds completely normal at any revs under 6k and feels to be pulling strongly even with the sound through the whole rev range.

Any thoughts on this? The only thing that I did notice was the one O2 sensor seems to be stuck at 0.45V or there abouts and the other is ranging from 0.08V to 0.8V does this seem correct?

This is normal qnd I think its the vvt, I used to get it all the time but now I have put a shed load of miles on the 200 I don't hear out as much, and now you mention it I havnt heard it for months...
 
my car has done 500 miles and i hear it glad you brought it up and i now knoe its normall (ish)
 
hmm, couldve sworn I hadnt heard it before I noticed it this week, oh well just another rattle to try and ignore!

Anyone got any thoughts on the O2 sensors?
