Spraying grills

The two grills either side of the front Renault badge are looking washed out. I've tried 'bumper shine' and trim restorer but it still looks grey. I don't want them to be gloss black like the paintwork, but I'd like make them darker. you could just use any matt black paint I think then if you dont want them to be glossy

A common MK2 fix is satin black spray. Don't know which brand, exactly.

Already ordered some now. £2.98 from everyone's favourite online shop. If it's **** I'll look elsewhere.

i used hammerite satin black on mine

I just used a cheap £2.99 satin black on mine but have used plastikote before and it covers well.

Had mine carbon dipped for a new and fresh look as they had gone grey with age.

Just give mine a quickie every month and she looks as good as new So do the grills lol

Going to do mine the weekend with the Hammerite Satin Black.
