v12 tuning manchester anyone heard of them ?

I,m going to view a clio 197 today in the add it says its been remapped to 220bhp by v12 tuning in Manchester . They are not a specialist renualt tuner as I,ve just looked on there website so its putting me off a little incase they arnt that good with mapping all different cars not just renualt . Has anyone used these or would you recommend to stay clear and only use the likes of ktec and other renualt tuners that specialise in renualt cheers

220 wow what did they tune it with? An R26 engine conversion.

Not saying it won't be ok just that even the cup racers run circa 215php

looks like youve done your research on the 197s, go and get it sounds like a right weapon . . .. as does the car :thumbup:

If they're lucky it will be 200 bhp. Most are between 185 and 195 standard. There are loads on here with full exhaust systems, air filters and 64mm throttle bodies that just about get 200 bhp.

i know scott at v12 chip tuning very welll, i wouldnt of thought hed quote them figures imo

Maybe the remap isn't the only mod - You would need to spend a pretty penny to get 220 though? Or the rollers are wrong. It's the only way you'll get those sort of figures.
