thats what i am having trouble with, surely their must be albums?

There are albums but for every good song theres about 15 rubbish ones to skip over.
I just cant think of one single trance album and ive got quite a few and thought omg thats good from track 1 all the way to track 20.
But there is one in particular that is good if you can find it is DT8 Project Perfect world. Its a few years old but there are some outstanding tracks on it.

a state of trance is worth checking out, he also does a state of trance 'yearmix' which is his favourite tracks of the year short mixed (maybe like 20 tracks an hour) so no long build ups. tiesto's in search of sunrise albums have vocal tracks on too.
also check out alldj.org, you can select a genre or a specific dj, and download sets from there, free and legal (but there might be an occasional 'you're listening to di.fm' plug or similar) but they host tons of music, you can always find something new
