So new steering wheel and gear gator arrived today: yay!

4 hours of trying to remove gear knob and steering wheel (airbag clip) and nothing. Nadda. Not a jot of movement on either.

Very narked

But I can’t unclip the clip

Airbag pissed me off so much when trying to get it off (even though I'd done it once in 10 minutes prior) I ended up just buying an aftermarket wheel and boss for when i did manage it. Are you using a 1/4" extension on it? Definitely helps rather than a flat head

Gearknob, literally get a good grip on it with both hands and just pull up. Hard. And watch your face!
