200 Aircon

Quick question about aircon on the 200. I test drove a 200 at the weekend and one thing I noticed was that when the aircon was switched on, something under the bonnet (compressor?) was very noisy. Also the aircon was absolute pants, i.e. very little cold air coming through the vents into the cabin. Is this normal or was it faulty?

the noise could be the cooling fan its used to keep the air con condenser cool when its on

the clio3 is well known for a poor air con system - but it should still be "cold" just not like some other cars were they can feel freezing as such

if you think its wrong then before buying you should point it out and have it fixed...

i picked up my 200 last friday. 18 months old with 9k on the clock. was an ex demo so air con not been used much.

It needed a new compressor and regassing before i picked it up.

Mine was shocking although now regassed is lovely and cold after five minutes of driving. Get it recharged.
