getting really annoyed with this now every thing is in and done it just wouldn't run so trip to stes (sc auto electrics) 340 mile round trip! got it running on another ecu when it started I was well chuffed but then wouldn't rev above 3k with both map sensors plugged in ste was messing about with it for most of day and at 4oclock the radiator decided it wanted to spring a leak so I had to leave it with ste which I didn't want to do as its all time and money travelling to Bolton and back any how ordered a alloy rad and got it delivered to stes and it doesn't have any fittings on it to plum header tank up so hopefully stes sorts a rad out for me and gets it running properly in next week or so as im booked to go to the ring in it on 1st of may so time is ticking away this car just seems to be very unlucky for me and nothing has been straight forward with it French piece of ****!

nurburgring is 3 weeks today and I haven't even had it running right yet let alone drive it im getting a little worried now to say the least
now going to bolton to hopefully bring the clio home finally after a lot of ball ache and only 2 days to go until the ring!
good news clio is finally done thanks to ste and his boys at sc autos have only driven it on standard map for about 70 miles so im not gona whrite to much as itching to take it off the back of the truck and blast about in it all day with the new map on it and rack a few miles in it before the ring trip
car was done 2 days before I went to the nurburgring thanks to ste and his boys this car has been an absolute pain in the a**e theres been times when ive been ready to chuck in the towel, then litchy let me have a go in his and that made me realise what I was aiming for then set my heart to finishing it again, car has been a ball ache from start to finish with ecus ball joints anti tourque steer bars it now has a alloy race rad as original sprung a leak then the biggest problem of engine spinning a shell 6 days before my ring trip! luckily ste had a engine and he put it in for me at good price, ring trip was done and ive racked up 1400ish miles in it and yes you guessed it more problems I broke the gear linkage racing on the autobahns being to heavy handed with the gearstick that 1 was my fault then a shock decided it was going to exsplode 1 month out of warranty but despite all this it puts a massive smile on my face the 5 days its been on the road and does surprise a few people which was what I was aiming for in the first place, it is now looking very said sitting in the corner of my yard with no wheels suspension brakes or seats as they are all off/out getting refurbished

me and a few mates in germanyste mapping it at 9 at night didn't get home until 1 amdoes any one no where this goes I pulled my drivers seat out and then see this dangling and haven't got a clue where it goes?Looks similar to one I pulled out of my 182 man, was something that connected to the seat rail area and it was used to work out how close/far from the airbag you were sitting so the computer knew when or how hard to inflate the airbag I guess. Couldn't tell you exactly where or how to put it back in I was putting buckets in but its in that area
yeah look on the drivers seat on the inner runner it just clips on as it tells the airbag computer how close you are to the steering wheel
dropped my seats off to the trimmers last week and collected them today really chuffed with the outcome heres a pic of drivers seat before and after

Everyone seems to have so many problems and dramas fitting a 225 into a 197 mine went absolutely straight forward strange ain't it how is it now it's mapped
