How do you turn hardcore on ?

when your looking for a server theres a bit that says NORMAL/HARDCORE/INFANTRY

Hardcore is just like the normal game but alot more realistic. A bullit or two will bring someone down, not 7 shots from a sniper rifle and theyre still running.

INFANTRY I would imagine would just remove vehicles. Havent played that though so may be wrong.

yeah, youll be trying to join a server with the map pack you obviously dont have yet. Well worth getting, the maps are brilliant.
