Dumbest move pulled in a car.

over took a car going past the local police station years ago in my RS Turbo, only to find as i was going past him it was an unmarked cop car, doh! i'd only owned the car 20mins which went down well

Undertook an unmarked police van on the motorway. Got the blues and twos to pull onto the hard shoulder where I got the "I could take your license off you right now" lecture to which I was sheepish and apologetic and told to be on my way.

Crashed into a ditch when towing my mate on a sledge behind my car in the snow deep back roads. Got stuck and had to walk to find a farmer to pull us out with his tractor. Car was absolutely fine when he pulled it out.

Missed a police car by an inch while drifting in a roundabout with a friends E46 M3...

And then - bribing the police. This, turned out to be, an only smart move that evening.

its rather rude and involves being in the front seat of a car and the sea front at south shields :poke:

car like a plasterers radio eh??

Dumbest move in a car was going through a speed trap at 86mph in a 60mph, then being chased down by the traffic 5 series, only to think he had the blues on and right up my hole because he wanted to overtake me. All the while i was driving a Twingo GT. :thumbup1:

Took a corner in a transit connect to fast in wet and done a complete 360 never hit a thing but shat a brick happend earlier lol !!

had a guy in car sat right on my bumper after approcahing me at a high speed so put my foot down and thought right im having you lol, only for him to overtake me.................along with the police car chasing him

Hahahahaha that's the best so far!

Raptor bribing them is a close second!

Has to be half a year after passing my test. On the way back to sixth form in the snow the road was two 90 degree corners then a long straight road up a hill to the 6th form

I under steered on the first 90 degree corner and after discovering the hand brake the previous week, decided to pull it... The car skidded and with a bit of throttle, it straightened out... Obviously that meant I was ken block. Lol

10 feet away was the next 90 degree turn... I figured since the last 'drift' went so well I'd do it again... Did a 180 and skidded backwards waiting to hit the rear of a megane sideways lol. I stopped an inch away from the thing!!! Lucky as ****

So I cleaned up the soiled pants and sheepishly carried on up the straight, very slowly. I turned the wheel a fraction to get on the correct side of the road and span 90 degrees lol! I was fuming and sat there pissed off for 10 mins blocking the road :tongueout:

Or... Racing a friend (he was in a 1.0 206 and I was in a 1.2 8v Clio) I overtook him on the wrong side of the road on a blind turn... Utter retard. Tbf I'm lucky im not dead :worried:

Not really done any crazy stuff on the road in my Clio, Mr.Sensible.

Only hairy moment I've had is deciding to use the racing line through Copse at Silverstone when it was a little wetter than the lap before without ESP on, back-end came around towards the exit and I spun out onto the run-off full 360, avoided the gravel and walls. Lucky there was a lot of run-off there or it would have been nasty.

Carried on for some more laps until it got too wet and I gave up for that session. Needless to say for the laps afterwards I used the wet line and put the ESP on, haha.

minimal in a car . . . but

when i was 19 or so i piked up my nice new Yamaha R1 from the showroom having only just passed my test and never haven ridden before the 5 lessons before my test .

the ride home was errr. . . interesting . Did i mention it was wet !!!! Scary times

Friday 13th August 1993.

Was out with a mate in stoke on trent looking for the local boy racers, a couple of passes through the local macdonalds but there seemed to be no one around, i wanted an early night as we were going to castle combe the next day with the ASOC, avenger and sunbeam owners club, i was in my white Ti .

My mate talked me into one more lap of the local area just before midnight, still no action so we set off for his house, i was just going up the slip road to the A500 when an RS1600i came flying up the outside of me and set off up the duel carrigeway.

Down two gears and i set off after him, i was soon up to about 95 and on his tail, up to one island and into the inside lane before cutting across the other two lanes and down the next slip road onto the nest bypass, i got in front of him and i was flying down the road up to 96mph, i had a 1.0 diff fitted and that was as fast as it went so as i sat there flat out, the 16i came past me, the drivers girlfriend shaking her head as they did.

Next thing to go past is a blue carlton with some nice blue lights in the grill.

I slowed right down but i was on a bypass so could'nt go anywere, i got to the end of the bypass and the police were across the road looking for me.

The officer screamed at me, PULL IN OVER THERE, THATS THE WORST PIECE OF DRIVING I'VE EVER SEEN.

I pulled in and the guy with the 16i was there too, he was stood at the side of his car, i can tell this bit better than type, he was short tongued and blurted out ' i should have known better, i was done for speeding along here last year' i nearly cracked up.

Turns out the unmarked cop car was chasing him at the first island, when the 16i went past me i cut in front of the cop car to chase the escort.

I was working nights at the time and had to go to court in stoke 3 times, the other guy never turned up, i live near nottingham so had to get the train because i was told i would get a ban, i fell asleep on the train coming back one time and i snore, i woke as it pulled up into a station and everyone on the train was stareing at me :oops::rofl:

I got a three month ban for that but no points.

Main one was one a bike, having a play with a friend in his CTR gave him a wave and made to set off as brisk as possible.

Realised quickly the thick gloves I had on didn't leave you with a lot of control as I managed to dump the clutch at about 3/4s revs in 2nd gear and proceed to wheely for about 50+ metres down a certain well know dual carriage way in Sheffield.

I got off the bike and walked into the office trying to look boss......

Never had any majors in the Clio, had the back end out a few times on lift off into round abouts etc. but pretty used to that so never really think much of it. Again had the back end out a few times on track but it's caught fairly easily.

I do manage to end up pulling off some stupid overtakes though, with video evidence but that's for another day

Lol @ some of these!

Well mines pants but here goes.

Driving my 1.1ltr rover metro after about 2 months of passing, was on holiday in grassington and had been to Harrogate for the day with my brother, was on a b road on the way back to grassington and as I had a 1.1 metro I had never over taken, I was behind a Renault 5 with an old couple driving and about 30 cars behind me, anyway first bit of road to over take and brother is egging me on, massive hill.... About half a mile long, at the bottom I start the over take in 5th gear, never having overtook I didn't change down a gear anyway the peak of the hill comes up just as I overtook and got back into lane, needles to say 30 Pi$$ed off drivers left behind as double white lines again in the middle of the road.

We still laugh about my terrible overtake to this day.
