Gonna do some sprints and hillclimbs with it so hopefully that lot will sharpen her up a bit.

Yeah it won't be an outright winner but I enjoy the banter and I'm sure it will hold its own in the road class.

Well the boy tried and failed LARGE to overtake a line of cars on a short bit of straight, He basically ran out of road and then talent and collided with the Clio sending my wife into a ditch and wall!. He then flipped landed on a tractor trailer then the road upside down......... He was a very lucky boy!!.

Did a Local Hillclimb yesterday and well the FF is a heavy girl and i was 2.5secs slower than my personal best set in my old 172!.

mmm some mods and a diet are required asap.

What mods did you have on the 172?

ITB's, 182 manifold and sports cat, gripper diff box with 5:1 final drive ratio.

Corner weighted with total being 1016kg
So power to weight ratio was over 200bhp/per ton where as the 200 is more like 113.

The RS in action yesterday at my local sprint.

Fitted some 888's which seemed to make a difference and i managed to bag a 3rd place in class.
