New brake pads

Twingogeekeo/Karl

Should be around here somewhere, look in the traders section.

Depending on the cost of standard replacements I'd consider some uprated ones, as an example DS2500 are about £130 and offer nothing but improvements over standard.

Nextdaybrakes
£30 for fronts
£40 for rears
£70 for front discs

I have ferodo ds2500 front and rear and the bite is better but my god they squeal at low speed.

whatever you do, make sure you get a pad retaining pin kit for each caliper. It's a real prick when you bend one thats seized and dont have new ones ready to go

Did you use copper grease when you put them in? No squeal from mine

Same, greased them up good and no squeek. I had the OEM ones squeek, though they were screwed by the time I came to change them.

On the back where the pistons make contact with the pad and on the sides where they contact the caliper.

There's a guide in the how to section.

All I can say is EBC reds mate or blues have they started making them yet?

Can some1 show me proof that it's the back of the pad that squeals?

Well, you can put copper grease on the front of them if you like. Have a nice funeral.

Squeal usually comes from the pad/disc combination. But copper grease on the back lubricates and piston to reduce twisting in the backing plate (which helps) and damps the vibration at the contact area (which also helps).
