lol no i have a clio 197. Have not updated the profile lol. It is all sorted now i had a piece of plastic underneath the car that was rubbing and giving off smoke. I have removed the plastic for now until i can get a new one. Thank you for all the replies even if i did not understand most of the mechanical talk.

Also i never said hitting standing water, where i live there is a huge hill where when it rains basically forms a river going down hill.
