Odd touring car q?!

Evening peoples!!

After watching the tc from Thruxton my dad has abit of an oddball question...wdoes anyone know why sum of the cars have their wipers stuck up on the windscreen?? This seems an odd setup to me?!?!

Also who booked FCS on the same day as tc at Oulton??!? This leaves me with a problem!!

I always assumed it was to improve aerodynamic too. Or maybe they're using the scuttle panel as an air intake (This is the best place for an intake) and want to keep it clear so move the wipers away
