Paint Lacquer

Hi guys,

Everytime I wash the car these days I notice that the paint lacquer on the bonnet is coming off. I was about to wash it today and noticed part of it was seriously coming off and now the paint is as well.. I know this can't be normal. Surely this can be covered on warranty?

if it hasnt been sprayed outside a renault bodyshop than it should be covered by warranty, 3 years of paintwork warranty there is right? had the same issue on my fathers scenic, he didnt even bother taking it back though LOL

Sound like last owner respray the front for reason like stone chips or been a bump.

Did you get the car from renault?

have a really good look and the edge of the bonnet, when bodyshops respray a panel the dont do both sides of it so there will be a line where the masked up to

I’m pretty sure when i took mine in to have the spoiler replaced they told me the paint is covered under a 10 year warranty.. Give Renault a call and check with them. Hopefully im right and you will get a new bonnet sorted.
