some diy hydro-dipping will take place here soon..fingers crossed..got a 2x1m sheet from ebay and an activator..should be trying some small bits this weekend..

i was looking to have some of my parts hydro-dipped by a company but the prices put me off..the 2x1m sheet cost me £13 and activator £9..should be able to get a few bits done..check this Chris
 
yeah seen that..same principle basically..not too difficult from what i've seen..worth a try,isnt it?
what are you planning on doing Chris??
 
Well I was considering wrapping/plastidipping some small parts around the car, also want the rear diffuser but thats probably a bit big to hydrodip...
 
Good on you mate for giving this a go. Can't wait to see the results. What are you using for a tank and how are you heating the water?
i wont do big parts..will borrow a big box from work..have lots of them lying around..lego and stuff..the water should be an ambient temperature from what i've seen so not a big deal..

R26R clutch kit..single mass flywheel,slave cylinder+bolts
timing belt kit,water pump,aux belt kit

Not sure how I missed this parts porn but I did. Like a kid on Christmas day mate eh?
