Was just about to say this. You're basically fixed to the seat so in the event of a crash you will be heading towards the dash with added weight behind you and no way of stopping the impeding face makeover.
Yeah you're right, plus the rear seatbelt anchors are too low to mount the harnesses, so the angle isn't considered safe either. Ideally you'd need fixed back buckets with a cage to mount the harnesses.
