torque settings

what are the torque settings for the wheel nuts please
doppy **** who put mine on last time over thightend them idiot

in the manuals theres 2 settings -

either 130nm

or 140nm

i have 130 in the paper manual but the on-line one says 140nm

i do mine at 130nm and never issues

One of my renault service invoices says 'wheel nuts torqued to 120Nm' so i've always done it to that. Never had any problems

tbh i only cordless impact wrench the lockers on now. puts them in to 70nm. aslong as normal bolts are 130 im happy

My lockers are a bit broken too, the tapered shoulder comes off them sometimes

I torque them all up to 50nm as I don't want to wear the bolts out

50Nm is very, very low! No point doing them that 'loose'
