Brake seal failed

I was giving my brakes a service today as the rears have been a bit sticky and noisy recently. I did the fronts first, the pins came out pretty easily thankfully. I've put my new mrpink ones in now. When I got to the offside rear though I found this:

Will this caliper be fine with just a seal change?

I thought that as well. They still have a fair amount of life in them. I can't say the same for the disks though, they need replacing.

as long as theres no corrosion/pitting on the piston where it goes past the fluid seal it should be ok

make sure you give the piston a good clean first as sometimes the chrome can become pitted and cause surface rust - this will just damage the fluid seal over time...
