Bulb gone...

Just went out and changed the driver side one. I must have put it in the wrong way!! It's 50x better than the existing sidelight. Guna get the tools back out later and change the passenger side so I'll upload some pics later :smile: thanks for all the help guys!
 
There's some very F1 pitstop times been posted on here for bumper removal and bulb swaps. In my early days in the RS owners club they used to have a spark plug change challenge on a Mk2 Escort RS2000.

Maybe something similar could be done with these boys who reckon they can do a headlamp bulb change in sub 30 seconds. In fact if anyone can do it in that time I will put an Akro Evo up as a prize!

The job of changing any of the bulbs apart from the front indicators is an absolute C**T and no one will convince me any different. The only people likely to be able to do it without their hands being shredded on the various clips and plasticky bits are either still at infant school or dont have male genitalia.

lol got to agree with the above . I have small hands and gave up trying to change the headlight bulbs in situ . Bumper
off is the way forward :smile:
