Black and White
How high can you go? Get a picture of the car high up, on a bridge or something.
How low can u go, taken from high up down on the car.
Dirty.
Clean parts, parts that wouldn't normally be clean, but you're so anal you have cleaned the crap out of it.
Motion.
Colours, something red, blue, etc.
3 legs, car tripoding one way or another.
Air, the car in the air. Jumping or otherwise.
Indoors.
Me and the another one, incorporating other Renault models.

Few to go on with.

On other forums, I used to always enter the potm competitions as it was always a good laugh and an excuse to get out in the car but my only critism is that its like a popularity contest as sometimes it was the more favoured forum members that won rather than the quality of the pictures. Not sure if its the case on here as I have never entered nor realised we had one although now I know I would enter

Also, I think with the competition being every month, good themes had been done to death and we were scraping the barrel as to what theme to choose.

I recon a spring, summer, autumn and winter POT competition would be better.

I will personally get the first prize (that's car related prize) if we have no joy out of the traders.Angel as already said he will do the Xmas/new year one(thank you again)

As I stated on the other thread.

Tbh anyone submitting a pic should supply the original image so you can check the date taken and camera used + other info that is stored when taken.

How hard is is to pick up your mobile or canon and YOU snap a pic of YOUR OWN car.

I don't agree with any photo editing except the reg plate being removed.

It should be a none competitive photo comp not a photoshop comp.

I would also not put a theme and just have photo comp of the month.

You may go somewhere you will never go again and get a once in a life time pic but not be able to use it just because it doesn't fit the theme.

Personally, I don't mind the themes but as already mentioned it starts to become hard coming up with new themes every month. Perhaps we should mix the themes up so you can have a serious theme one month like farming, offroad etc. then throw in a fun theme where we have to do something daft like on the VXR forum

I really hope you can keep POTM one way or another, although i don't manage to enter each month i enjoy the challenge of going out driving round trying to find the right spot to get a pic, some months ive spent hours of driving round new places ive never been before and still not getting the pic i wanted.
End of the day it got me out of the house and gave me an excuse to go for a drive.
