jsut wondering what people use for reading fault codes and if this is what i am looking for?
what do people use?

I've had one of these im ebay watching page for ages.

Meant to be ok......you'd just need to cross reference the codes meaning's on Google.

Obd bluetooth for couple of bucks + torque(free or pro ver) for andriod users.
Pretty basic not sepcial .
like first aid but sometimes it's enough itself

Good to know, and plenty good enough for common-or-garden fault reading as i thought.

got a dedicated renault/french car obd2 - full renault range and abs etc iirc its one of similar maxi scan tools
