oil useage

Guys
How much oil do you burn in a month?
I appear to burn around 300ml. Though i cannot spot a leak.

What oil are you using? Mine is about 100ml/month, maybe even less.

They'll all be a bit different though.

100mL/2000km very hard driving (>4500rpm average).

roughly how far down the dipstick is 100ml then?

Min to Max on the dipstick is 1L usually.

I keep mine topped up to just under Max and check one per month. The in car gauge is very good but I like to check it manually just to be extra sure. Nine times out of ten she needs a little bit of a top up...

didn't want to comment on my oil useage when this thread started as i've never kept a serious eye on it but since its been mentioned i've checked it regular for roughly 3 weeks and it doesn't seem to use any oil at all
